Keyless Entry Remote Programming Instructions – 1992 Oldsmobile Bravada

Important Note: This procedure allows programming of multiple remotes. All remotes must be programmed during the same session. Any remotes not included will not function.

Programming Procedure:

• Step 1: Remove the screws securing the trim panel or grille located at the rear of the center console to access the wiring behind it.
• Step 2: Locate the reset connector behind the console. This is the programming access point for the keyless entry system.
• Step 3: Use a jumper wire to connect the terminals of the reset connector. When connected properly, the power door locks will cycle (lock and unlock) to indicate that the vehicle has entered programming mode.
• Step 4: On the first remote, press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button. The locks will cycle again, confirming successful programming.
• Step 5: Repeat Step 4 for each additional remote you want to program. All remotes must be programmed during this session.
• Step 6: After programming all remotes, remove the jumper wire from the reset connector to exit programming mode.
• Step 7: Test each remote to verify that all functions—such as locking and unlocking—work correctly.
