Keyless Entry Remote Programming Instructions – 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada
Important Note: This procedure allows you to program up to two remotes. All remotes must be programmed during the same session, or previously programmed remotes will be erased.
Programming Procedure:
- Step 1: Locate the Data Link Connector (DLC) beneath the driver’s side dashboard. The connector is trapezoid-shaped, and the terminals are not labeled—refer to a pinout diagram if needed. You will be working with cavity G, located in the bottom row (usually the last cavity on the right).
- Step 2: Using a fused jumper wire, connect cavity G to a suitable ground point on the vehicle. Within 2 seconds, the door locks will cycle (lock and unlock) to confirm that the system has entered programming mode.
- Step 3: Press any button on the first remote. The door locks will cycle again to confirm successful programming.
- Step 4: If you are programming a second remote, press any button on that remote. The door locks will once again cycle to indicate successful programming.
- Step 5: Remove the jumper wire to exit programming mode.
- Step 6: Test all remotes to ensure proper function of locking and unlocking features.
