Programming Guide for 1995 Buick Roadmaster Keyless Entry Remote Fob
(Onboard Programming Procedure)
Important Note: This vehicle supports onboard programming for up to two remotes. If you are programming a new remote, make sure to include any existing remotes in the same session, as previous codes will be erased during this process.
Programming Procedure:
- Step 1: Open the trunk and locate the programming connector on the driver’s side (LH). → It may be necessary to gently pull back the trunk trim to access it. → The connector will have black and white wires and will not be plugged into anything.
- Step 2: Insert a jumper wire across the terminals of the programming connector. → Leave the jumper in place until Step 6.
- Step 3: The vehicle will lock and unlock the doors automatically. This indicates that programming mode has been successfully activated.
- Step 4: Press any button on the first remote. → The doors will lock and unlock again, confirming the remote has been accepted.
- Step 5: If you are programming a second remote, press any button on that remote now. → The doors will cycle again to indicate it has also been successfully programmed. Maximum of two remote fobs can be programmed for this model.
- Step 6: Remove the jumper wire from the programming connector to exit programming mode.
- Step 7: Test both remote fobs to confirm successful programming.
