Programming Guide for 1995 Buick Skylark Keyless Entry Remote Fob
(Onboard Programming Instructions)
Overview: This model allows onboard programming of up to two keyless remotes. All remotes must be programmed during the same session. Previous codes will be erased once programming mode is initiated.
Programming Steps:
- Step 1: Open the trunk and locate the programming connector on the driver’s side (LH) of the trunk. → You may need to pull back the carpeted trim to access it. → The connector is not plugged into anything and typically has black and white wires.
- Step 2: Use a jumper wire to connect the two terminals on the programming connector. → Keep the jumper wire connected through Step 6.
- Step 3: The vehicle will respond by locking and unlocking the doors, indicating entry into programming mode.
- Step 4: Press any button on the first remote once. → The door locks will cycle again, confirming the remote has been successfully programmed.
- Step 5: If programming a second remote, press any button on that remote as well. → The locks will cycle again to confirm. Only two remotes can be programmed to this vehicle.
- Step 6: Remove the jumper wire to exit programming mode.
- Step 7: Test all remotes to verify proper function.
