Important Note: Before beginning the programming process, ensure you have all remotes on hand. Any remotes not programmed during this session will not function.
Programming Procedure:

- Step 3: Insert the key into the ignition and remove it without turning it. Repeat this step at least six times within 10 seconds. When done correctly, the vehicle’s tail lamps will flash, indicating that the system has entered programming mode and the previous codes have been erased.
- Step 4: Insert the key again and turn it to the ACC (accessory) position. Do not start the engine.
- Step 5: Within 5 seconds, press the LOCK button on the first remote. The tail lamps will flash to confirm that the remote has been successfully programmed.
- Step 6: To program an additional remote, use the power lock switch on the driver’s door to unlock and then re-lock the doors.
- Step 7: Press the LOCK button on the second remote. Tail lamps will flash again to confirm programming.
- Step 8: When finished programming all remotes, open the driver’s door and turn the ignition to the OFF position to exit programming mode.
