<h1>Keyless Entry Remote Programming Instructions – 1998 Honda Prelude</h1> <p><font size="3"><b>Important Notice:</b> Entering programming mode will erase all previously stored remotes. To ensure continued operation, you must program all remotes you wish to use during the same session. You may use a new or previously unprogrammed remote. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Turn the ignition switch back to the OFF (0) position. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Repeat steps 1 through 3 a total of three times, using the same remote each time. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: After the third cycle, turn the ignition to the ON (II) position again.</font></li> <li><font size="3"> Step 6: Press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the same remote once more. The door locks should automatically cycle to confirm that the vehicle has entered programming mode. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 7: Program any additional remotes by pressing either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on each one.
