<h1>Keyless Entry Remote Programming Instructions – 1998 Honda Prelude</h1> <p><font size="3"><b>Important Notice:</b> Entering programming mode will erase all previously stored remotes. To ensure continued operation, you must program all remotes you wish to use during the same session. (This is the position just before the engine starts.) </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the remote you’re using to initiate programming. You may use a new or previously unprogrammed remote. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Turn the ignition switch back to the OFF (0) position. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Repeat steps 1 through 3 a total of three times, using the same remote each time. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: After the third cycle, turn the ignition to the ON (II) position again.</font></li> <li><font size="3"> Step 6: Press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the same remote once more. The door locks should automatically cycle to confirm that the vehicle has entered programming mode. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 7: Program any additional remotes by pressing either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on each one.
