2000 Plymouth Voyager

Keyless Entry Remote Programming Instructions – 2000 Plymouth Voyager

Note: You must have at least one working remote to program additional remotes. If no remote is currently functional, the first remote must be programmed by a qualified technician using diagnostic equipment.

Programming Procedure:

  • Step 1: Use the working remote to unlock the doors and disarm the vehicle’s theft/security system.
  • Step 2: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the RUN position (just before engine start).
  • Step 3: Press and hold the UNLOCK button on the working remote for 4 to 10 seconds.
  • Step 4: While continuing to hold the UNLOCK button, press and hold the PANIC button for 1 second, then release both buttons. Wait for a chime (allow up to 3 seconds), indicating the system has entered programming mode.
  • Step 5: Within 30 seconds of the chime: Press and release the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously. Then press and release the UNLOCK button alone. A second chime will confirm the remote has been successfully programmed.
  • Step 6: To add additional remotes, repeat the sequence (LOCK + UNLOCK, then UNLOCK) on each new remote. A chime will sound after each successful programming.
  • Step 7: Turn the ignition OFF and remove the key.
  • Step 8: Test each remote to ensure all programmed remotes function correctly.
