Step-by-Step Instructions:

  • Step 1: Locate the Data Port Find the Data Port under the driver's side dashboard, typically located to the right of the steering column. This is the connection point for the jumper wire that will initiate the programming process.
  • Step 2: Insert Keys into the Ignition Insert the vehicle's working key into the ignition and leave the ignition in the OFF position. This is necessary before connecting the jumper wire.
  • Step 3: Check for Metal Contact Pins Ensure that there are metal contact pins in terminals 1 and 4 in the Data Port. These pins are critical to the system's ability to enter programming mode.

  • Step 10: Disconnect the Jumper Wire Once all remotes are successfully programmed, disconnect the jumper wire from the Data Port. This will exit programming mode and prepare the system for normal operation.
  • Step 11: Turn the Ignition to OFF Ensure that the ignition is turned to the OFF position, if it hasn’t already been done.
  • Step 12: Remove Keys from the Ignition Remove the keys from the ignition to finalize the process. Make sure all remotes are working properly before finishing.
