Make sure to complete each step within 5 seconds to prevent the system from exiting programming mode. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position once again. This will put the vehicle into programming mode. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 6: Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the same remote you used in Step 2. The power door locks should cycle (lock then unlock) to confirm that the vehicle is now in programming mode. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 7: Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on each remote you wish to program. After pressing each button, the door locks should cycle again to confirm that the system has accepted the remote.</font></li> <li><font size="3"> Step 8: Repeat Step 7 for each additional remote that you wish to program. Each time you press the remote button, the door locks will cycle, confirming that the system has successfully learned the remote. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 9: Once all remotes are programmed, turn the ignition switch to the LOCK (0) position to exit programming mode. This saves the programming data and prevents any further remotes from being added. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 10: Test each remote by pressing the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons.
