<h1>2004 Honda Pilot – Keyless Entry Remote Fob Programming Guide</h1> Important Notice: When you enter programming mode, all previously programmed remotes will be erased. You must program all remotes you wish to use during the same session. Steps 1 through 12 must be completed within 5 seconds of each other. Step 13 (remote programming) must be completed within 10 seconds per remote. Programming Instructions: <ul> <li>Step 1: Make sure all doors are unlocked. </li> <li>Step 2: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (Position II).</li> <li> Step 3: Press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the remote you wish to program. </li> <li>Step 4: Turn the ignition to the ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0) position. </li> <li>Step 5: Turn the ignition back to the ON position (II). </li> <li>Step 6: Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the same remote. </li> <li>Step 7: Turn the ignition to ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0). </li> <li>Step 8: Turn the ignition to ON (II) again. </li> <li>Step 9: Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the same remote.</li> <li> Step 10: Turn the ignition to ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0). </li> <li>Step 11: Turn the ignition once more to the ON position (II). </li> <li>Step 12: Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button again. If done correctly, the door locks will cycle (lock and unlock) to confirm entry into programming mode. </li> <li>Step 13: Press the LOCK button on each remote you wish to program. The locks will cycle after each remote is successfully accepted. The system will accept up to three remotes. </li> <li>Step 14: Turn the ignition to the LOCK position (0) to exit programming mode. </li> <li>Step 15: Test each remote to ensure all functions work correctly.</li> </ul>
