Programming Guide for 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor Keyless Entry Remote Fob
Important Notice: Carefully follow all steps to successfully program your keyless entry remote fob. If you encounter any issues during the process, professional assistance may be required.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Step 1: Locate the Data Port Find the Data Port under the driver’s side dashboard, typically located to the right of the steering column.
- Step 2: Insert the Keys into the Ignition Place the vehicle keys into the ignition and leave the ignition in the OFF position.
- Step 3: Ensure Metal Contact Pins and Connect the Jumper Wire Check that terminals 1 and 4 contain metal contact pins. Use a suitable jumper wire to connect terminals 1 and 4 in the Data Port. Leave the jumper wire connected throughout the entire programming procedure. Be sure to confirm which terminals are 1 and 4.
- Step 4: Activate Programming Mode Within 10 seconds of connecting the jumper wire, press the Hazard Switch six times. The doors will automatically lock and unlock once, indicating that the system has entered programming mode.
- Step 5: Program the First Remote Press the LOCK button on the remote you wish to register three times within 10 seconds. Upon successful programming, the doors will lock and unlock once to confirm the registration.
- Step 6: Program Additional Remotes If you have additional remotes to program, repeat Step 5 within one minute for each remote. You can program up to 4 remotes, including any existing ones. After each successful programming, the doors will lock and unlock once to confirm.
- Step 7: Test the Remotes Test each remote by pressing the lock/unlock buttons to ensure proper functionality.
- Step 8: Disconnect the Jumper Wire Once all remotes have been successfully programmed, disconnect the jumper wire from the Data Port.
- Step 9: Remove the Keys from the Ignition Finally, remove the keys from the ignition to complete the programming process.
