2005 Suzuki Aerio Keyless Entry Remote Fob Programming Instructions

Important Notes: Up to two remotes can be programmed. This process will erase previously stored remotes. Timing is critical—read all steps before beginning.

Programming Procedure:

• Step 1: Remove the key from the ignition.
• Step 2: Ensure all vehicle doors are fully closed.
• Step 3: Open the driver’s door and leave it open.
• Step 4: Insert the key into the ignition, turn it to the ON position (do not start the engine), then turn it OFF and remove the key — this step must be completed within 10 seconds.
• Step 5: Within 20 seconds, close and open the driver’s door three times.
• Step 6: Insert the key again and turn it to the ON position, then turn it OFF and remove it — this must also be completed within 10 seconds.
• Step 7: The door locks should automatically lock and unlock once to confirm the vehicle has entered programming mode.
• Step 8: Press the UNLOCK button on the remote fob you want to program. The locks should cycle again to confirm successful programming.
• Step 9: To program an additional remote, repeat Step 8 for each remote within the same session.
• Step 10: Exit the vehicle with all remotes and close the driver’s door. Test all remotes to ensure proper LOCK and UNLOCK function.
