<h1>2006 GMC Yukon Denali Keyless Entry Remote Fob (Smart Key)</h1> Important Note: The 2006 Yukon Denali supports onboard programming for remote key fobs. This procedure will erase all previously programmed remotes, so be sure to program all desired remotes during the same session. Programming Procedure: <ul> <li>Step 1: Prepare the Vehicle Ensure all doors are closed completely before starting. Insert the key into the ignition without turning it. </li> <li>Step 2: Hold the Unlock Button Press and hold the power UNLOCK button on the driver’s door panel. – Continue holding this button through Steps 3–8. Do not release it yet. </li> <li>Step 3: Cycle the Ignition (Complete Quickly) While holding the unlock button, perform the following steps in sequence and without pausing: Turn the ignition to ON (as far as it goes without starting the engine). Turn the ignition OFF. Turn the ignition ON again. Turn the ignition OFF again. </li> <li>Step 4: Enter Programming Mode Now release the UNLOCK button. – The door locks will automatically lock and unlock, confirming the vehicle has entered programming mode. </li> <li>Step 5: Program the First Remote Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote at the same time. – Continue holding for up to 30 seconds, until the door locks cycle again (lock and unlock). – This confirms the remote has been successfully programmed. </li> <li>Step 6: Program Additional Remotes Repeat Step 5 for each additional remote, including any existing ones. – All remotes must be programmed during the same session. Any remotes not programmed now will no longer function. </li> <li>Step 7: Exit Programming Mode Turn the ignition to the ON position to exit programming mode.</li> </ul> Final Tips: <ul> <li> Test each remote after programming to ensure proper operation. Replace the battery if any remote does not respond during programming. Repeat the entire process if the locks do not respond at any step.</li> </ul>
