Programming Instructions for 2007 Mazda B-Series Keyless Entry Remote Fob

Important Notice: The 2007 Mazda B-Series allows on-board programming for keyless entry remotes. Up to two remotes can be programmed during a single session. Be sure to follow each step promptly, as timing is essential to successful programming.

Programming Procedure:

  • Step 1: Confirm all doors are completely closed, and the ignition is in the OFF position.
  • Step 2: Open the driver’s door, press the UNLOCK button on the driver’s interior door panel, and leave the door open.
  • Step 3: Insert the key into the ignition.
  • Step 4: Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN (the position just before engine start) eight times within 10 seconds, ending with the ignition in the RUN position on the eighth turn. – If completed correctly, the door locks will cycle, indicating the vehicle has entered programming mode.
  • Step 5: Within 20 seconds, press any button on the first remote. – The door locks will cycle again, confirming the remote has been successfully programmed.
  • Step 6: Within the next 20 seconds, press any button on the second remote (if applicable). – The locks will cycle once more, confirming the second remote has also been accepted.
  • Step 7: Turn the ignition to the OFF position. – The door locks will cycle one final time, signaling that the programming session has ended.
  • Step 8: Test both remotes to confirm proper lock and unlock functionality.
  • Step 9: If the remotes do not function correctly, repeat the steps from the beginning, ensuring all timing requirements are followed accurately.
