2007 Suzuki Aerio Keyless Entry Remote Fob Programming Instructions

Before You Begin: You can program up to two remotes for this vehicle. The process erases all previously stored remotes, so have all fobs ready. All steps must be performed promptly—timing is critical.

Programming Procedure:

  • Step 1: Remove the key from the ignition.
  • Step 2: Ensure that all vehicle doors are fully closed.
  • Step 3: Open the driver’s door and leave it open.
  • Step 4: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (dashboard lights on, engine off), then turn it OFF and remove the key — all within 10 seconds.
  • Step 5: Within 20 seconds, close and open the driver’s door three times.
  • Step 6: Insert the key again and turn it to the ON position, then back to OFF, and remove it — again within 10 seconds.
  • Step 7: The door locks should automatically lock and unlock once, indicating the system has entered programming mode.
  • Step 8: Press the UNLOCK button on the first remote. The locks should cycle once to confirm successful programming.
  • Step 9: Repeat Step 8 for any additional remote you wish to program (maximum of two total).
  • Step 10: Exit the vehicle with all programmed remotes. Close the driver's door and test each remote for proper lock/unlock operation.
