2008 Buick Enclave Keyless Entry Remote Fob

Important Note: Before starting the programming process, make sure the vehicle is in Park and all remotes you plan to program are available. A total of up to eight remotes can be programmed. Once in programming mode, any remotes not reprogrammed during this session will be removed from memory.

For Vehicles With Driver Information Center (DIC) Buttons:

  • Step 1: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (do not start the engine).
  • Step 2: Press the vehicle information button on the dashboard until you see “PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY” displayed.
  • Step 3: Press the Set/Reset button. The display should change to “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE.”
  • Step 4: On the first remote, press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until a chime sounds.
  • Step 5: Repeat Step 4 for each additional remote you wish to program.
  • Step 6: Turn the ignition OFF and remove the key to exit programming mode.
  • Step 7: Test each remote to confirm functionality.

For Vehicles Without Driver Information Center (DIC) Buttons:

  • Step 1: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (without starting the engine).
  • Step 2: Ensure the vehicle is in Park (P).
  • Step 3: Press the trip odometer reset stem until “RELEARN REMOTE KEY” is displayed on the instrument panel.
  • Step 4: Press and hold the trip odometer reset stem for approximately 3 seconds until the message “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE” appears.
  • Step 5: On the first remote, press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until a chime confirms successful programming.
  • Step 6: Repeat Step 5 for any additional remotes.
  • Step 7: Turn the ignition OFF and remove the key to end programming mode.
  • Step 8: Test each remote to ensure it operates all intended functions (lock, unlock, etc.).
