2008 Lincoln MKZ

Programming a Remote Head Key for 2008 Lincoln MKZ

Important: This procedure allows you to program a spare remote head key using the vehicle's ignition system. It requires two already programmed keys and one new, unprogrammed key. Without two working keys, this process cannot be completed manually. Follow all steps in order. Maintain the specified timing between steps. If an error occurs, wait 10 seconds and restart from the beginning. Read all instructions carefully before starting.

  • Step 2: Insert the first programmed key into the ignition cylinder.
