<h1>Keyless Entry Remote Fob Programming – 2008 Saturn Outlook</h1> <p><font size="3"><b>Important Notice:</b> The 2008 Saturn Outlook allows onboard programming of keyless entry remote fobs. The procedure differs depending on whether your vehicle is equipped with Driver Information Center (DIC) buttons. </font></p> <p><font size="3"><b>For Vehicles Equipped with Driver Information Center (DIC) Buttons:</b> </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Turn the Ignition to ON Insert the key and turn it to the ON position (do not start the engine) to activate the vehicle's electronic display. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Access Remote Key Relearn Option Press the Vehicle Information button repeatedly until the message “PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY” appears on the display. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Activate Remote Programming Mode Press the Set/Reset button. The display will change to “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE.” </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Program the First Remote Press and hold the Lock and Unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for about 15 seconds. A chime will sound once the remote has been successfully programmed. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: Program Additional Remotes To add more remotes, repeat Step 4 for each additional remote. The vehicle can store up to eight remotes. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 6: Exit Programming Mode Turn the ignition OFF and remove the key. Test each remote to confirm all functions work properly. </font></li> </ul> <p><font size="3"><b>For Vehicles Without Driver Information Center Buttons:</b> </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Prepare the Vehicle Ensure the vehicle is in Park (P). Insert the key and turn it to the ON position (as far as it goes without starting the engine). </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Display Remote Relearn Option Press the Trip Odometer Reset Stem until “RELEARN REMOTE KEY” appears in the instrument cluster. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Activate Programming Mode Press and hold the Trip Odometer Reset Stem for about 3 seconds. The display will show “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE.” </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Program the First Remote Hold the Lock and Unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for approximately 15 seconds. A chime will sound, confirming successful programming. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: Program Additional Remotes Repeat Step 4 for each additional remote you wish to program.
