2009 Buick Enclave Keyless Entry Remote Fob

Important Notice: Before starting the programming procedure, ensure the vehicle is in Park (P) and that you have all remotes you wish to program available. Once programming begins, all previous remote codes will be erased, and only remotes programmed during the session will remain functional. Up to eight remotes can be programmed.

If Your Vehicle Has Driver Information Center (DIC) Buttons:

  • Step 1: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (do not start the engine).
  • Step 2: Use the vehicle information button to scroll through options until you see “PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY.”
  • Step 3: Press the Set/Reset button. The display should change to “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE.”
  • Step 4: On the first remote, press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for about 15 seconds until you hear a chime.
  • Step 5: Repeat Step 4 for each additional remote you want to program (up to 8 total).
  • Step 6: Turn the ignition OFF and remove the key.
  • Step 7: Test each remote to ensure proper function.

If Your Vehicle Does Not Have DIC Buttons:

  • Step 1: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position without starting the engine.
  • Step 2: Ensure the gear selector is in Park (P).
  • Step 3: Press the trip odometer reset stem until “RELEARN REMOTE KEY” appears on the display.
  • Step 4: Press and hold the trip odometer reset stem for about 3 seconds. The message “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE” will appear.
  • Step 5: On the first remote, press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time for approximately 15 seconds until a chime sounds.
  • Step 6: Repeat Step 5 for any additional remotes you wish to program.
  • Step 7: Turn the ignition OFF and remove the key to exit programming mode.
  • Step 8: Test all programmed remotes to verify that they operate the vehicle's lock and unlock functions.
