A maximum of four smart keys can be programmed. If you have only one or none, professional programming is required. </font></p> <p><font size="3"><b>Step-by-Step Instructions:</b> </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Ensure the ignition is OFF and that all doors are closed. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Place the new unprogrammed Intelligent Access Key inside the backup pocket in the glove box. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Press the driver or passenger power door unlock control three times. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Press and release the brake pedal once. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: Press the driver or passenger power door lock control three times. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 6: Press and release the brake pedal once again. The indicator light on the START/STOP button should begin to rapidly flash, indicating that the vehicle has entered programming mode and two valid keys are detected.</font></li> <li><font size="3"> Step 7: Within one minute, press the START/STOP button once. The message center will confirm that the new key has been successfully programmed.
