<h1>2010 GMC Savana Remote Fob Programming Instructions</h1> Your vehicle may include or exclude Driver Information Center (DIC) buttons. Follow the appropriate method below based on your vehicle's configuration. For Vehicles WITH Driver Information Center (DIC) Buttons: <ul> <li>Step 1: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (do not start the engine). This will allow access to the Driver Information Center. </li> <li>Step 2: Press the vehicle information button repeatedly until the message “PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY” appears on the display screen. </li> <li>Step 3: Press the set/reset button. The display should now show “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE.” </li> <li>Step 4: On the first remote fob, press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously for about 15 seconds. A chime will sound once the remote has been successfully programmed. </li> <li>Step 5: To add more remotes, repeat Step 4 for each additional fob. You may program up to eight remotes in total. </li> <li>Step 6: When finished, turn the ignition OFF, remove the key, and test each remote for proper function. </li> </ul> For Vehicles WITHOUT Driver Information Center (DIC) Buttons: Before beginning, make sure the vehicle is in Park. Turn the ignition to the ON position, stopping just before engine startup. <ul> <li>Step 1: Press the trip odometer reset stem repeatedly until the display shows “RELEARN REMOTE KEY.” </li> <li>Step 2: Press and hold the trip odometer reset stem for three seconds until the message changes to “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE.” </li> <li>Step 3: Press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the first remote fob for approximately 15 seconds. Wait for a chime to confirm successful programming. </li> <li>Step 4: Repeat Step 3 to program any additional remotes, up to a maximum of eight. </li> <li>Step 5: Exit programming mode by turning the ignition OFF and removing the key. Test all remotes to confirm functionality.</li> </ul>
