Please follow the applicable section below.</font></p> <p><font size="3"><b> If All Keys Are Lost:</b> This vehicle does not allow remote key fob programming without at least one existing, working key. </font></p> <p><font size="3"><b>If all keys are lost, the following steps must be taken:</b> </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Arrange for professional assistance. A technician with the proper tools will be needed to complete the process. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: If your vehicle can still be driven, transporting it to a programming facility may reduce costs. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: The technician will use diagnostic equipment to interface with the vehicle&rsquo;s computer system and program a new key fob.</font></li> </ul> <p><font size="3"><b> If You Have One Working Flip Key and Want to Add Another:</b></font></p> <p><font size="3"> If you currently have one programmed key and wish to add another, you can follow these steps to program an additional key yourself. </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Insert the existing, already programmed flip key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON/RUN" position. Leave it in this position until all dash lights illuminate. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Turn the ignition back to the "LOCK/OFF" position and remove the key from the ignition. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Within five seconds, insert the new key you wish to program into the ignition and turn it to the "ON/RUN" position. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Wait for the security light to turn off. This indicates that the new key has been successfully learned by the vehicle. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: Repeat the above steps for each additional key you wish to program. </font></li> </ul> <p><font size="3"><b>If You Have a Recognized Smart Transmitter and Wish to Add a New One:</b> </font></p> <p><font size="3">If your model includes a smart key system, follow the steps below to add a new transmitter: (These steps may vary depending on trim level. Please confirm whether your vehicle has a smart key system.) </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Place the recognized transmitter inside the vehicle. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Insert the new transmitter into the slot (or hold it near the designated detection area). </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Follow the on-screen prompts in the Driver Information Center or use the ignition button as directed. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: When complete, test all remotes to confirm successful pairing.
