The procedure differs based on whether or not your vehicle is equipped with DIC buttons. </font></p> <p><font size="3"><b>For Vehicles with Driver Information Center (DIC) Buttons:</b> </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position without starting the engine. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Press the "Vehicle Information" button repeatedly until the display shows "PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY." </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Press the "Set/Reset" button. The display will change to "REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE." </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: On the remote fob, press and hold both the Lock and Unlock buttons at the same time for approximately fifteen seconds. A chime will sound to confirm successful programming. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: To program additional remotes, repeat Step 4 for each remote. The vehicle can store up to eight remotes. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 6: Turn the ignition off and remove the key to exit programming mode. Test each remote to ensure functionality.</font></li> </ul> <p><font size="3"><b> For Vehicles without DIC Buttons:</b> </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Ensure the vehicle is in Park. Insert the key and turn it to the ON position without starting the engine. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Press the trip odometer reset stem repeatedly until "RELEARN REMOTE KEY" appears on the display. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Press and hold the trip odometer reset stem for three seconds until the message changes to "REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE." </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: On the first remote, press and hold the Lock and Unlock buttons simultaneously for approximately fifteen seconds. A chime will confirm successful programming. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: To program additional remotes, repeat Step 4 for each one.
