<h1>2011 Acura RDX Remote Keyless Entry Fob Programming Instructions (Remote Functions Only)</h1> Important: This procedure programs only the remote control features (lock, unlock, panic). It does not program the ignition or transponder chip. All steps must be completed inside the vehicle with all doors unlocked. Step-by-Step Instructions: <ul> <li>Step 1: Unlock all doors and sit in the driver’s seat. </li> <li>Step 2: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON (II) position. Do not start the engine. </li> <li>Step 3: Press and release the LOCK button on the remote fob. </li> <li>Step 4: Turn the ignition to the OFF (I) position. Leave the key inserted. </li> <li>Step 5: Turn the ignition back to the ON (II) position. </li> <li>Step 6: Press the UNLOCK button on the same remote. </li> <li>Step 7: Turn the ignition to the OFF (I) position again. </li> <li>Step 8: Turn the ignition back to the ON (II) position.</li> <li> Step 9: Press the LOCK button again on the remote. </li> <li>Step 10: Turn the ignition to the OFF (I) position. </li> <li>Step 11: Turn the ignition to the ON (II) position one last time. </li> <li>Step 12: Press and release the LOCK button. The door locks will cycle, confirming that the vehicle has entered programming mode. </li> <li>Step 13: Press the LOCK button on each remote fob you want to program. The door locks will cycle after each remote is successfully recognized. Include the original remote in this step. </li> <li>Step 14: Turn the ignition to the OFF (I) position and remove the key to exit programming mode. </li> <li>Step 15: Test all remotes to verify proper operation of lock and unlock functions.</li> </ul>
