<h1>2014 Remote Fob Programming – Flip Key and Smart Key Systems Flip Key System (Remote Portion Only)</h1> <p><font size="3"><b> Note:</b> This procedure programs only the remote control functions of the flip key, not the ignition chip. Entering programming mode will erase all previously stored remotes, so all remotes must be reprogrammed during this session. Each step must be completed within 4 seconds of the previous one. Each remote must be programmed within 10 seconds of the last to remain in programming mode. </font></p> <p><font size="3"><b>Flip Key Programming Procedure</b> </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Turn the ignition to the ON (II) position. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Within 4 seconds, press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on a remote. (An unprogrammed remote may be used.) </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Within 4 seconds, turn the ignition to the LOCK (0) position. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Within 4 seconds, turn the ignition back to ON (II), then OFF (0) again. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: Repeat Steps 2, 3, and 4 two additional times (for a total of three cycles), using the same remote. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 6: Within 4 seconds, press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on each additional remote you wish to program. – The door locks should cycle after each remote is accepted, confirming successful programming. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 7: Turn the ignition to LOCK (0) to exit programming mode. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 8: Remove the key, wait 10 seconds, and test all remotes to confirm operation. </font></li> </ul>
