If two working keys are not available, programming must be performed by a professional using diagnostic equipment. Make sure the vehicle is off, and that all doors are closed throughout the procedure. Perform all steps within 30 seconds of starting. If you make a mistake, wait at least one minute before beginning again. </font></p> <p><font size="3"><b>Step-by-Step Smart Key Programming Procedure:</b></font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Ensure the vehicle is turned off and all doors are fully closed. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Place the new, unprogrammed Intelligent Access Key in the backup slot located inside the glove box. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Press the power unlock button on the driver or passenger door three times. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Press and release the brake pedal once. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: Press the power lock button on the driver or passenger door three times. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 6: Press and release the brake pedal once again.
