2015 Buick Enclave Keyless Entry Remote Fob (Smart Key)

Important Notice: The 2015 Buick Enclave does not support onboard programming for smart key remote fobs. Programming must be completed by a trained technician using specialized diagnostic equipment. All remotes intended for use should be available at the time of programming, as keys not present may be removed from the system.

Programming Procedure:

• Step 1: Ensure the vehicle is parked securely and all doors are fully closed.
• Step 2: Gather all existing and new remote fobs that you wish to use with the vehicle.
• Step 3: A technician will access the vehicle’s onboard diagnostics through the OBD-II port under the dashboard.
• Step 4: Using a certified scan tool, the technician will initiate access to the vehicle’s Body Control Module (BCM).
• Step 5: Identity verification or a security PIN may be required before proceeding with programming.
• Step 6: The system will enter programming mode, allowing new remotes to be added.
• Step 7: Each new remote will be placed in the designated key slot if applicable, or recognized wirelessly depending on the system configuration.
• Step 8: The technician will confirm each remote’s registration by observing system prompts such as a chime or lock cycle.
• Step 9: Additional remotes can be added during this session by repeating the recognition process.
• Step 10: Once all remotes have been programmed, the system will be exited from programming mode.
• Step 11: Each remote should be tested to confirm that functions such as lock, unlock, trunk release, panic, and remote start (if equipped) operate correctly.
