The process takes approximately 30 minutes. </font></p> <ul> <li><font size="3">Step 1: Insert the new key into the ignition and turn it to the ON/RUN position. The security light on the dash will illuminate. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 2: Keep the ignition in the ON/RUN position for approximately 10 minutes, until the security light turns off. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 3: Turn the key to the OFF position and wait a few seconds. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 4: Repeat Steps 1 through 3 two more times. After the third cycle, turn the key back to ON/RUN. The security light should no longer be illuminated. </font></li> <li><font size="3">Step 5: The key is now programmed.
