Programming a Remote Head Key for 2016 Lincoln MKZ
Important: This process allows you to program a spare Intelligent Access key for a 2016 vehicle equipped with push-button start. You must have two working, programmed keys in order to complete the procedure. Manual programming will not work with only one functional key. Ensure the vehicle is turned off and all doors are closed before beginning. Complete each step in order, following the timing requirements. If programming is not successful, wait 10 seconds and restart from Step 1. Read through the entire process before starting.
