Important Notice: This vehicle does not support onboard programming for keyless entry remote fobs. Programming requires specialized diagnostic equipment and must be performed by a qualified technician. Programming Procedure

  • Step 1: Locate a Qualified Professional Find a certified automotive technician or service provider who is equipped to program smart key remote fobs for your vehicle.
  • Step 2: Consider Cost-Effective Options If your vehicle is still drivable, driving it to the technician’s location can save you money, as on-site services can sometimes be more expensive.
  • Step 3: Prepare All Key Fobs Before starting the programming process, gather all current and new key fobs. Some systems require all fobs to be available during the programming process.
  • Step 4: Provide Proof of Ownership The technician may request proof of ownership, such as your vehicle registration or title, to proceed with the programming.
  • Step 5: Connect to the Vehicle’s System The technician will use specialized diagnostic equipment to connect to your vehicle’s system and initiate the programming of the remote fob.
  • Step 6: Programming the Smart Key Remote Fob Using the diagnostic tools, the technician will securely program the new remote fob, pairing it with your vehicle’s security system to ensure it functions correctly.
  • Step 7: Test the Programmed Fob Once programming is complete, the technician will test the remote fob to verify that it works properly with the vehicle, ensuring keyless entry and starting functionality.
  • Step 8: Program Additional Fobs (If Needed) If you have additional key fobs to program, the technician will repeat the process for each one. All fobs should be programmed together to ensure they are synchronized with the vehicle's system.
  • Step 9: Exit Programming Mode Once all key fobs are successfully programmed and tested, the technician will exit the programming mode and restore the vehicle to its normal operating state.
  • Step 10: Retrieve Your Vehicle and Key Fobs Once programming is complete, retrieve your vehicle and newly programmed remote fobs. Test all fobs to ensure they function correctly before leaving the service provider.
