Programming a Remote Head Key for 2018 Lincoln MKZ
Important: This procedure allows you to program a spare Intelligent Access key for a 2018 MKZ equipped with push-button start. To complete this process, you must have two previously programmed keys and one new, unprogrammed key. The onboard system will not allow manual programming with fewer than two recognized keys. Ensure the vehicle is turned off and all doors remain closed during the process. Follow each step exactly as described, including all wait times. If programming is unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds before restarting the process. Review all steps in advance before beginning.
