Programming Procedure:

  • Step 1: Park the vehicle on a flat surface in a secure location. Ensure all doors are closed, and only the new key fob being programmed is present in the cabin.
  • Step 2: Connect a certified diagnostic scan tool to the vehicle's OBD-II port, located under the dashboard on the driver’s side.
  • Step 3: Switch the vehicle to the ""ON"" position by pressing the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without pressing the brake pedal. Do not start the engine during programming.
  • Step 4: Using the scan tool, navigate to the immobilizer or Smart Key registration menu. Select the option to either “Add Smart Key” or “Replace Smart Key.”
