Programming Guide for 2019 Audi S6 Keyless Entry Smart Key Remote Fob
Important Notice: The 2019 Audi S6 does not support onboard programming for smart key remote fobs. All programming must be completed by a qualified automotive professional using Audi-specific diagnostic tools.
Programming Procedure:
- Step 1: Schedule an appointment with a certified technician or authorized Audi service provider equipped with the appropriate diagnostic equipment to program smart keys.
- Step 2: If your vehicle is drivable, transporting it to the service location is typically more affordable than requesting mobile service.
- Step 3: Confirm the technician has experience with Audi smart key systems and immobilizer functions to ensure secure and successful pairing.
- Step 4: Bring all smart key remotes you wish to have programmed. Any remotes not present during the session may be erased from the system and will need to be reprogrammed later.
- Step 5: The technician will connect professional-grade diagnostic tools to your vehicle’s OBD-II port to access the key programming interface.
- Step 6: Using the diagnostic system, the technician will begin the registration process to electronically pair each remote fob with your vehicle’s central locking and ignition systems.
- Step 7: Each key fob will be tested for full functionality, including locking, unlocking, trunk release, and push-button engine start.
- Step 8: If any issues occur, the technician will troubleshoot and reattempt programming to ensure reliable operation.
- Step 9: Once all remotes have been successfully programmed and tested, the system will exit programming mode, and the process will be finalized.
