Programming Guide for 2019 Cadillac CT6 Smart Keyless Entry Remote Fob
Important Notice: Your 2019 Cadillac CT6 allows onboard programming of additional smart key fobs only when two recognized transmitters are present. If no working remotes are available, a 30-minute security relearn process must be completed. You can program up to eight transmitters to the vehicle. Ensure all remotes are available before beginning.
Programming with Two Recognized Transmitters: Follow this process when you have two working remotes.
- Step 1: Remove the mechanical key from both recognized transmitters.
- Step 2: Place the two recognized remotes in the cupholder.

- Step 4: The Driver Information Center (DIC) will display READY FOR REMOTE #2, 3, 4, ETC.
- Step 5: Open the center console, remove the rubber mat if present, and place the new transmitter into the transmitter pocket.
- Step 6: Press the ENGINE START/STOP button. The DIC will confirm when the remote has been successfully learned.
- Step 7: Remove the newly programmed transmitter from the pocket and press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button.
- Step 8: To program additional remotes, repeat Steps 5 through 7.
- Step 9: After all remotes are programmed, press and hold ENGINE START/STOP for approximately 12 seconds to exit programming mode.
