<h1>2019 GMC Acadia – Remote Key Fob Programming</h1> System Type: Intelligent Access Smart Key Programming Option 1: With Two Recognized Remotes <ul> <li>Step 1: Make sure the ignition is completely off. </li> <li>Step 2: Place both functioning remotes into the front cup holders. </li> <li>Step 3: Remove the driver door lock cover and insert the mechanical key from the new fob. </li> <li>Step 4: Turn the key to unlock five times quickly. </li> <li>Step 5: Wait for the “READY FOR REMOTE” message to appear. </li> <li>Step 6: Place the new fob into the transmitter pocket in the center console. </li> <li>Step 7: Press the ENGINE START/STOP button. </li> <li>Step 8: When prompted, remove the remote and press LOCK or UNLOCK. </li> <li>Step 9: Repeat for any additional remotes. </li> <li>Step 10: Hold the engine button for 12 seconds to exit. </li> <li>Step 11: Reinsert the mechanical key into the fob casing. </li> </ul> Programming Option 2: If No Working Remotes Are Present <ul> <li>Step 1: Insert the mechanical key into the driver door and unlock five times quickly. </li> <li>Step 2: Wait until “REMOTE LEARN PENDING” appears. </li> <li>Step 3: After 10 minutes, press the engine start button. </li> <li>Step 4: Repeat two more times (three cycles total). </li> <li>Step 5: Place the new remote into the center console pocket and press the button. </li> <li>Step 6: Remove the remote and press LOCK or UNLOCK. </li> <li>Step 7: Repeat for each additional fob. </li> <li>Step 8: Press and hold the start button for 12 seconds to exit.</li> </ul>
