Important Notice: The 2020 Genesis G90 does not support onboard programming for smart key remote fobs. A trained professional must perform the programming using specialized diagnostic tools.

Programming Instructions:

• Step 1: Contact a qualified automotive technician or authorized service provider who is experienced in smart key programming and equipped with the proper diagnostic tools.
• Step 2: Verify that the service provider can interface with your vehicle’s electronic systems using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment.
• Step 3: If your vehicle is drivable, consider bringing it directly to the service location to reduce additional fees often associated with mobile service.
• Step 4: Schedule an appointment to ensure availability and confirm the technician has the correct tools for your specific vehicle model.
• Step 5: Bring all existing smart keys with you. Some systems require all remotes to be present during programming to ensure continued functionality.
