2021 Mitsubishi Outlander – Smart Key Remote Fob Programming Instructions

Important Notice: The 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander is not equipped with an onboard programming option for the smart key remote fob. All programming must be performed using advanced diagnostic tools and should be carried out by a trained technician.

Smart Key Programming Procedure:

• Step 2: If the vehicle is in working condition, consider driving it to the service location. This may help reduce the overall service cost compared to requesting a mobile visit.

• Step 4: The vehicle’s systems will verify the smart key's compatibility and authorize its registration once the programming is complete.
