Important Notice: The 2024 Mazda CX-5 does not support self-programming for smart key remote fobs. Programming must be carried out by a trained automotive technician using specialized diagnostic equipment designed to communicate with the vehicle’s security and electronic control systems.

Programming Procedure:

• Step 1: Verify that the replacement smart key is compatible with the 2024 Mazda CX-5 and has not been previously linked to another vehicle.
• Step 2: Collect all existing smart key remotes. Some vehicle systems require all remotes to be present during programming to ensure continued functionality.
• Step 3: Schedule service with a qualified automotive technician or a certified service facility equipped to perform electronic key programming.
