Important Notice: This vehicle does not support onboard programming for the smart key remote fob. Specialized diagnostic equipment is required, and programming must be completed by a certified automotive technician or an authorized dealer.

• Step 2: Schedule an appointment with a certified automotive technician or an authorized dealer who is equipped with the necessary diagnostic tools for smart key programming.
• Step 3: Bring all working key fobs with you to the appointment. Any remotes not present during the programming session may be erased from the system and will no longer function.
• Step 4: If the vehicle is operational, consider driving it to the technician’s location to reduce service costs compared to requesting mobile programming service.
• Step 5: If no working remotes are available, be prepared to provide proof of ownership—such as a vehicle title or registration—before the technician can begin programming.
• Step 6: The technician will connect specialized diagnostic equipment to your vehicle’s onboard system to securely program and pair the new smart key fob.
• Step 7: After programming, the technician will verify that the new key fob successfully locks, unlocks, and starts the vehicle as intended.
• Step 8: Once programming is complete, test all key fob functions yourself, including proximity unlocking, engine start, and trunk release, to ensure they work as expected.
• Step 9: If you need to program additional remotes, repeat the process for each one within 30 seconds of completing the previous programming.
