Programming Instructions
Honda Civic Remote Programming Instructions
This procedure will delete all learned remotes. Be sure to have all working remotes with you. As you have to program them all again. All doors and hatch must be closed but unlocked. You can program up to 3 remotes.
- Turn the ignition to ON with a working key. This is 1 position before starting the engine.
- Press within 5 seconds the LOCK Button on the remote for one second.
- Turn the key back to OFF position. Dash lights will go off.
- Repeat steps 1-3. Now you are in programming mode. You will hear the lock cycling.
- Press within 5 seconds the LOCK Button on each remote. One after other. You will hear a lock cycling sound after each programmed remote
- When you are finished turn the key out of ignition and try the remotes.
